How we handle your data

Data controller

The data controller is LAVORAZIONI MECCANICHE S.R.L., registered office at Corso Rodolfo Montevecchio, 62, 10129 Torino (TO), Italy.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us and the technical data strictly needed to run the site:

• Quote form data: name, company, email, phone, quantity, material, the message text and any attached drawing.
• Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type and requested page, logged by the systems serving the site and needed for its security.
• Aggregated statistics with no persistent identifiers, collected without cookies.
• Only with your explicit consent: measurement and marketing data collected by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

• To answer your quote or information request: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To keep the site secure and working: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• For traffic statistics without persistent identifiers: the controller’s legitimate interest in knowing how the site performs (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• For advanced measurement and marketing: your consent, freely given and revocable at any time (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

How long we keep it

Quote requests and their attachments stay in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and, where it leads to an order, for the periods required by tax and civil law.

Technical security data is kept only as long as strictly necessary to protect our systems. Aggregated statistics cannot be traced back to you.

Who it may be shared with

Your data is never sold or handed over to third parties. It may be processed on our behalf, as data processors, by the technical suppliers that let us run the service:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — site delivery and security.
• Hostinger — company email service.
• Resend — forwarding of the quote form submissions.
• Google Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — only if you consented to measurement and marketing tools.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of the suppliers listed are United States companies. Any transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, on their participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

At any time you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
